How does my schedule look for next year?

IB English 11 SL
IB History of the Americas (Or I may take AP US History)
Algebra 2 Honors (I know I'm behind in math)
IB Physics
IB French I
Guitar Ensemble Advanced
Photography I

Academy Class: Exploring Health Sciences and Exploring the Language of Medicine

*For the Academy class, if I get accepted, I would have to drop two electives; between the last three)

I'm going into junior year, and this is my courses for next year. It might change if I get into the academy class. I want my junior year to go smoothly since it's the last full school year that colleges will see.

Did any of you guys take any of these classes yet? If so, how were they?

My future goal is to get into medical school after college. I want to work in the medical field, specifically a general surgeon. It's a big goal, I know, but that's why I want to start with the academy early.

What do you guys think of this schedule? Easy, just right, or challenging?

i doubt that academy course will actually help you with med school later on in life; if you seriously have an aspiration to begin preparing for med school now (something i think is ridiculous, but i respect your dedication), then go find out what textbooks first year HMS students use, purchase them, and read them over in your free time.

Yeah, I may end up dropping the academy class. Most people say that it’s not going to help me a lot. I think I may just stick with the three electives I have.
