Hi! I’m currently an 8th grader going into freshman year and was wondering if the courses/clubs I have put together sound both reasonable and good for my future. I plan to take AP courses next year or the years after that for English, science, and social studies along with maybe a few elective APs. Please give me your honest opinion and any advice/recommendations you may have. Thank you in advance!

Your schedule looks amazing! Do you have block scheduling or periods? Also you should join the 2022 thread! http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/high-school-life/2075370-high-school-class-of-2022.html#latest
Thank you so much! To hear that is really relieving haha. At my school we have “purple and gold” (our school colors) days that divide 8 periods into 2 days, so 4 periods a day that are about an hour and 30 minutes long I believe. I’ll for sure be joining it, thank you for the recommendation!
Your schedule is fine. You’ve established a strong foundation for later year schedules and you aren’t going overboard with rigor.
Thank you! That was the goal.
Your schedule looks perfect for a ninth grader. Good luck!
@OhWhatsHerName Thank you so much!
You have all five core courses (English, math, social science/ history, foreign language, science) plus electives that I assume you’ll enjoy :). Some are honors for rigor and you one go overboard with itbethern in Sherwood it’s well bnced and excellent. Congratulations!
