How does "NHS Treasurer" look to adcoms?

At our school the treasurer does handle a lot of money. Sure, some of our events only cost us $100, but some of the events we run end up costing more in the range of 1k USD. I don’t know the specifics, but I’m ALMOST sure that one of the events we run each year ends up costing $2,000 or more. It depends on what your school’s chapter of NHS does.

It’s still not a WHOLE lot of money, but it’s a big enough sum that you wouldn’t trust just any HS kid with it. We’ve NEVER had money go magically missing from NHS…unfortunately, the same can’t be said about the prom-planning committee.

Not at all.

Most NHS leaders run un-apposed and like previously said, theres 6 of them in every HS.

im NHS treasurer at my school too! I don’t think its the most impressive thing, but it certainly doesnt hurt and if you do something with the position that would make it more prestigous
