Does NYU calculate GPA differently into a standard way since every school grades GPAs differently? If they do, what is it?

NYU will look at your transcript and recalculate by including only your core academic subjects, e.g., English, Math, Science, History/Social Science, Foreign Language.

ok...thanks!

uh-oh, that wont be good for my grade... if thats truly the case I may be rejected :(

where did you get that info matth? I would think taking electives could only benefit you...since its voluntary

Wait so they dont take APs into consideration/?/
Like you're taking math but also AP Calc
OR
you're taking science but also ap bio at the same time

no Chibi they count those...he says they don't count electives such as Architectural Drawing or Independent Science Research, etc.

Ahh I see
Thank you!

But what if your elective has to do with the major that you are applying to?

OMG...... that doesn't help me at all......

Foreign Language ruined my average GRRRR.

lol yay!! foreign language helps mine sorry ahha but my math is really bad :(
