<p>I was wonder how NYU calculates your GPA when they are reading your transcript.</p>
<p>They only look at your core academic classes, not electives. So things like English, Math, Science, History, and Foreign Language.</p>
<p>Unweighted gpa is more important than weighted because it allows NYU to compare you to students from other secondary schools.</p>
