Hello
So I’m in 9th grade, in the first semester of high school, and I have a B in math. I have a feeling that i won’t be able to bring up that B in math.
But what if I get all As next semester? So how does that B calculate in my GPA if you get all As one semester and just one B in the second semester?
From a macro level, it depends on if your school calculates GPA based upon semester grades or year-end grades.
From a nuts-and-bolts perspective of how to calculate, it’s simple arithmetic.
Depends on what context we are talking about. Is the class AP or Honors? If not it could put a dent in your GPA because that is considered a 3.0 grade added in.
It depends on how many A grades you have along with the one B grade.
You should know how to calculate a grade point average by adding up the grade points for all of the grades and then dividing by the number of grades.
