It's too cumbersome to do all that stuff at once. I went back to my room to get dressed and came back to brush my teeth.

I always thought it would have been even more cumbersome to drag all your stuff to the shower, then go back to your room and change, then drag all your stuff back to the bathroom again when you were just there 5 minutes ago, but apparently I was in the minority. ;)

you put it around your waist tightly and pinch the end inside the rest of the towel...and hold it if it's not stable enough.

you could always go naked.

if you really want to do the "coolest" thing and you have a nice body, then wear a towel low...the girls will like it IF YOU HAVE A NICE BODY. they may also thing your conceited, but they'll still like it.

If you want big comfy towels look for Martex Platinum. They're also really thick and good for the colder weather (if your bathroom gets cold).

A friend gave me one with my name sewed onto it for graduation but I don't remember where she got it. All of my friends have these towels--she gave them to everyone. BB&B would be my first choice, but I'm sure Macy's or JC Penney would carry them too.

Also, if you're going to Disney World or live near Orlando, the Tower of Terror gift shop has some great towels (and robes, if you're into that). They also have nice glasses that are a perfect size for that late night milk or pop in your dorm.

I'm not in college yet, but I stayed at a Columbia dorm for a little while one summer. I just wore a T-shirt and cotton shorts to and from the shower, changing inside the stall. (Coed floor, if it matters)

No, don't walk around naked, even on a single sex floor. If you and your roommate agree that it's cool to be naked in your room, then that's ok, but don't subject others to it if they might be uncomfortable -- that's usually the limit in college.
