<p>So I was told that Spring admits can also get tickets to football games and such. Can someone explain how it works?</p>
<p>I was talking to one of my friends who attends UCLA and she told me that in order to get football tickets (this would be for the season pass), you have to pay a certain amount to be eligible for your name to be in a lottery. Then there's the lottery and if your name is chosen, you have the opportunity to BUY the ticket. It gets expensive.</p>
<p>My other friend at Cal told me football tickets were free to all students; my cousin at Stanford said the same thing.</p>
<p>At USC it is a Student Season Ticket. It costs $145 for 6 home games which this year includes Ohio State and Notre Dame. Away game tickets would be extra. Usually students get tix to ucla and the Weekender (this year at Stanford).</p>

Football tickets are in demand at SC. The Stanford stadium has many empty seats. If you are on a budget an idea is to post on a campus bulletin board you need a ticket. You might be lucky there.
Another idea is to post on one of the two football SC message boards. Two have a fee, but each has a "free" board. You could always post there about being a student and needing a ticket. Alumni can be rather helpful at times.<br>
The fact is football tickets at colleges with top teams can be expensive.</p>

<p>Last year for spring admits season passes didn't go on sale until sometime in august, you WILL need to pick up your student ID before these games and the id office is not open on saturdays (game day). You will get an email about all this but keep in mind its not for a while.</p>
