How does one study for anything?

Good question…I don’t remember ever sitting down and actually studying for a long period of time. I’m more of a cram or just wing it type of person.

Doing my homework is enough studying for me.

I tend to study by doing… Also for things like key terms or language vocabulary some people find flashcards helpful (I personally don’t as I find it far simpler to just be exposed to the terms in their proper context and gain familiarity).

read the textbook and my notes and memorize ;)

Personally I use flash cards and since I’m on the computer all the time might as well use FlashcardExchange.com

Poring over the textbook, taking notes once or twice, and trying to analyze the key points. That’s what I do for history and English, at least. For math and science, I just practice like crazy and take advantage of every resource I find.

Listening to calm, yet powerful music helps me as well.

Hello,
It depends on the subject. For some subjects I study reading and doing a resume of the contents. For some I do exercises to practice and for some it’s necessary to do both. I think that doing the homework is a really important thing to do as it will exercise you in the day you learnt something. It’s also important to study everyday the subject you learnt reading or doing exercises. It can take you a lot of time to study for something but it’s really good as it’s going to be kept in your mind.
Good Luck!

Math and English, I just repeat the exercises again and again. History and Science, I just do the homework and hope I remember it.

Practice problems, read the textbook, and flash cards.

no studying for math or science (either you get it or you don’t)
basic studying for eng (vocab, etc.)
reading notes + handouts for history.

that’s about it. I hate when we have a history test cuz then i actually have to really study.
