Thanks!

Bump!!!

100k a year? and with those grades? you have great chances.

@iswitchnollie
Best words I heard this week! Thanks!

BTW, I asked a friend why people are not answering and he told me people may think I’m trolling. IT’S NOT A ■■■■■ POST.

Bump!!!

lol 100K? Don’t even bother going to college…

But seriously, having a business like that really helps you, b/c its unique, and also shows a keen interest in business/ computer programming, if that’s the direction you’re pushing in

Wow and I thought I was special for managing an amazon vendor that has revenues of $10,000 a year. 100k! That is amazing. Yes I think you have great chances.

ok, so what is your GPA? If you can push sat to 2300+ you have a really good chance. Also apply to carnegie mellon, their cs program is amazing (supposedly MIT level)

Good chances. GPA and race/ethnicity?

@yoyo17
Thanks!

@FullMetalx
10k a year in amazon is also impressive!

Well, I’m not sure what is my GPA, in my country the grades go from 0 - 10. But my freshman year wasn’t that good, but my sophomore year was “good”, my junior year is going great.

You think a 2300 SAT is necessary for int’l who’s native language is not english?

Oh, woops I just assumed you were english, for your english is very good and it is common for exchange programs to occur with canada and germany. Did you take the TOEFL? Can you give us a breakdown of your SAT ie. Math, CR, and writing score?

Na, I’m south american. I got 117 on the TOEFL.

CR: 700
WR: 700
Math: 800

If you’re Hispanic, you’re pretty much as well-off in the admission game as anyone could be…

^exactly.

Also, your company profits sound really interesting! Could you tell us the name of your company?

@Elikresses
Sweet!

@Emc2Fma
Thanks! Well, if I told you the name of my I would be easily identified, and I want to stay as an anonymous here.

I still have my senior year, what do you guys recommend? Just stay focused in my grades and my company? Improve SAT? What? I’ve been thinking about starting another company and using the money I profited from the first to be my own investor. In this first company I got some fund from VC’s. But i’m not sure if its the right moment, since I think I’ll need to start focusing in my application this year. What do you guys think?

And btw, I have a 1930 in my SAT history, does that impact my chances? i took it last year for the first time and only got my 2200 this year in may SAT.

Also, as I said my freshman grades aren’t that great (6~7) but my sophmore grades were better (7~8) and my junior grades and I hope seneior are something like (8~10). The school profile influenciates a lot, I’m in a top private school so my grades can’t be compared with who studies at public schools/easy private schools.

Annnd, when I went to exchange in germany, i couldn’t validate, so I have a “gap” year in my record. Does that influenciate a lot? In germany besides learning german, I did a lot of social work to help to improve my german, xD.

By SAT history you mean a previous SAT result?
Don’t worry, most of those schools you are applying to (except Stanford) do not actually require you to send all SAT scores, so they won’t know about that…
Concerning grades, I think that as long as you can keep this ascending trend you should be fine.

Wow, your stats are very strong. The company is another great addition to your application. I think you have a great chance, maybe you should retake the SAT once more before you send out your applications to see if you can maybe get it to 2300. Atleast you won’t have to worry about paying off college debt lol.
