i am considering applying to PC i am fairly confident i can get in. I have a 3.0 UW gpa, 30 act, 1890 sat, decent ec's sorta. i know people may not be familiar with all these schoolsi am more curious right now about how it compares to the rest of my schools:
Loyola Chicago (i was accepted)
-the rest i am still waiting on a decision
Michigan (in-state)
Marquette
DePauw
College of the Holy Cross
Hillsdale College

it is hard to compare because PC isn't ranked in the same categories as these schools.
these are the majors i am considering (in order of likelihood)
1. Pre-Med
2. Poly Sci or Economics (probably for law school or grad school)
3. psychology
-i am also very interested in a philosophy minor since i have heard minors arent important for Pre-Med really.
Thanks!

Selectivity Academics

Loyola Chicago 91 77
Michigan 99 83
Marquette 85 80
DePauw 94 95
Holy Cross 96 98
Hillsdale College 96 96
Providence 93 80

Sorry Cross --with a 3.0 GPA I dont think PC or Holy Cross will offer admission.

thanks, for some reason i didn’t think to look at princeton review.
^i wasn’t asking for chances, but really? (this is for PC) i mean, their selectivity rating is slightly higher than loyola, which i got in to, my scores are at or above their 75th percentile, and providence’s average gpa is only 3.42 (that is from common app). on another chance thread here multiple people told someone who had a 2.72 and lower scores than me that he/she had a decent shot. also that 3.0 is with classes that are supposed to be college level basically, so they are harder or as hard as AP and honors.

well-u didnt indicate a weighted gpa–if its higher than a 3.0 u may have a shot. good luck to you !

well there is not an official weighted gpa, but the school sends a letter explaining the class load. idk, but loyola’s average scores and gpas are a bit higher, so i think i should get into PC at least, Holy Cross was more of a reach for me
