How does PENN systems Engineering compare with Cornell's ORIE?

I got accepted to Cornell and Penn's engineering schools. However, my major at Penn is Systems Engineering, whereas in Cornell it's Operations Research & Engineering. I was mostly interested in the financial track (i.e. Financial engineering) when I applied, and Penn's engineering seems to be geared towards technical systems consisting of technology (so right I am leaning towards Cornell).

I do plan to visit both schools next week and gain more insight before making my final decision, but I was just curious if anyone had any input on pros/ cons of both school's / the engineering programs/ and specifically systems engineering vs operations research and what not.

Thanks!

You should post your question on Engineering majors.

Thanks for the reply, I did make a new thread in that category yesterday, still no reply haha. Does anyone have any general comments on engineering in general in Penn vs Cornell?
