How does recruitment go??

My brother is currently freshmen in high school... he is also an international student.
I just watched some videos of yale tennis players...
I am sure that my brother can already play tennis better than those guys.
In his own country he is one of the best youth players..

How should I help my brother get recruited?? When should we start with sending tapes and letters?? Should my brother go to yale and ask for an appointment with the tennis coach to show his abilities??

NEVER ever compare anyone who you are used to seeing live to someone who you only see on video. It is human nature to be more impressed with any live performance (theatre, music, etc.).

with all due respect, I analyzed a lot of my brothers opponents by video.. so I am capable of judging players ability by vid.

Yale does not give athletic scholarships. At all. None of the Ivies do. First figure out if your brother meets the academic standards to get into Yale. If he does, then he might want to contact the coach. If not, no amount of tennis ability will get him in.

Because of this, it is way too early to contact Yale (or any other college, for that matter). Wait until he is at least a junior.

Out of curiosity, how did you confirm the accuracy of your analysis?

that the players that I coach win tournaments and games
