How does reviewing act reading tests help

I have been constantly reviewing my act reading tests but I don't know what I'm looking for or how it will help improve my score. Can anyone tell how does reviewing act reading help?

Or what to look for when reviewing tests

When reviewing you want to learn why you missed the problem so you will get similar problems right the next time.

Re-read the question now that you know the right answer, can you figure out on your own what went wrong?

If you can’t figure out what you did wrong on your own, read the explanation.

Make sure you really understand what went wrong. You should have an ‘aha moment’ where you see that you made a simple mistake, missed an important sentence, didn’t understand a vocabulary word, read the problem wrong, or something else.

Go through this process slowly. It should be a little challenging. If it’s not then you are rushing and not taking the time to learn. Take regular breaks and don’t wear yourself out too much. I would look at one passage each day if you have time.

Finally be sure to track your progress. Time yourself on some of the tests and be sure your score is increasing. Chances are it will be improving, but its really nice to actually see the number go up.
