How does Sparknotes Math 2 Compare to the real test?

Hey everyone! I'm taking the math 2 subject test tomorrow and I've been taking a couple of the sparknotes tests to prep. I'm scoring mid-700s on the tests... do you think they are reliable? I was scoring in the mid 600 range in the barrons book-- quite a difference!

Can anyone offer me some opinions here? Thank you!

Barrons is notorious for being MUCH MORE DIFFICULT than the actual test!! I used Barrons and my highest practice test from Barrons was 550. However, on the Sparknotes practice tests for Math II, I scored 740 on each one of them.

Made a 750 on the actual test in November. Hope that helps!

Thanks! That does help! I feel much better now… but I don’t want to feel overconfident.

It must have felt awesome to score a 750 after scoring in the 500 range on practice tests. Congrats!

Just confirming what sportsguy5 said. My Sparknotes test scores were within 20 points of my real test. Barrons scores were about 150 points off.

Oh, wow. It’s such a massive discrepancy!

I got 780 barrons using 1 hr 20 mins

I got 780 and 790 for sparknotes using 61 min each

790 on real test

retaking for 800, don’t tell me that it’s stupid, I know it is :)

I got 690 on sparknotes and 770 on real test. The real thing was easier.

You know I scored around the mid 750’s on 2 of Sparknotes math tests. On the actual Math lvl 2 i scored 800… :)

Cool! When I took the test on Saturday, I actually felt like it was very comparable to the sparknotes tests.
