I'm a currently a junior and this is the last year there are state testings. Do the state test affect admission chances... if so in what way? Students in California take those Standardized state testing in April or may (I think one of them is called STAR or something... I forget)

So do colleges see the scores? and do they affect admission?

colleges don't look at STAR testing results. CSU's will only look at the "Early Assessment Program". But it will not hurt you if you do not pass the english or math.

haha, teachers want high scores because it makes them look good. but in the end it doesn't really do anything for the students. our school gives out prizes for scoring the highest. i got a six flags magic mountain trip. top prize a laptop.
