How does summer session work?

If you're accepted into summer session, do you get to continue your education there in the fall?

Or is it ONLY for the summer?

If you are accepted as a freshman for the summer you get to continue in the fall. Many of the people I know that started in the summer loved it. They got to know a lot of people and the campus before the main flood of people got there in the fall. There are a lot of parties in the summer and it is a good time.

If you say you are willing to start in the summer, you may have a better chance of getting main campus. If you are borderline and would be rejected for fall, you may be accepted for summer.

Quick follow-up question: what's the cost to attend during the summer?

For the summer of 2007, In-state tuition was $485/credit hour and $925/credit hour for OOS. There were also some fees. Rooms rates were $732 for a standard double for Summer Session II (The one that starts at the beginning of July.) The meal plan was $804 for the session. Fees were about $100 for students taking 6 to 9 hours.
