is it a huge UPS evelope or just a small one?
what day did you guys receive the letter for ED1?
it says by 12/15 but did any of you guys receive it earlier?

my S was accepted RD last March... he received a large fat envelope that was delivered by the USPS (priority mail). people in the SoCal area got their envelopes one day earlier than everyone in other parts of the country.

My D received her ED letter last year around December 12 last year, but we're on the East Coast. It arrived priority mail (about $3.85 in postage) in a large white envelope that, when held up to the light (her dad was home), was translucent enough to make out the first word--"Congratulations!" that was underlined by hand.

do i get an email too?

No email--only snail mail. You'll receive e-mail about other things later, but not acceptances.

how does the rejection letter look like?
is it a small envelope?

don't know--but it probably won't be sent priority mail

so the dates for accepted, deferred, and rejected mails are all different?
