bump???

Bio BB : 610 . Real: 610

Physics: 690 . Real : 500 (serious)

The only physics course I have taken is a one semester college course in conceptual physics and the Collegeboard’s blue book exam is extremely conceptual and easy to grasp. On the real exam, it was heavily formula based such as Kaplan / Sparknotes… :(

I hope it was just that administration and tomorrow I get a test similar to the Blue Book’s exam in Physics :/. I have reviewed my formulas and im still only ok at using them, so I’m hoping and praying for the best.

BB Bio: 730, Real: 770
BB World: 730, Real: 780
BB Math 2: 780, 780, Real: 800
BB Chem: 730, Real: 800
BB USH: …uh actually good point I should take that before tomorrow :)

^ i pm’ed you

Chem: 710–>760
USH: 780, 740—>we’ll see!

so based on what you all are posting, math2c is accurate in the bluebook.
is bioM accurate out of BB?

WAIT HOLD ON.

The ‘blue book’ that contains World/U.S. SAT practice exams… I was under the impression that it was a released SAT exam?

On the cover, it says ‘Previously administered SAT exams’

Someone explain…

^ yes those WERE given previously…so it should technically be exactly the same difficulty. But things change year to year…and I think it’s been like 6-7 years since that test was given.

I thought the Biology from the Blue Book was much harder then the actual
BIOLOGY M: BB score=720, Real Score=770

I haven’t taken the official tests yet, but I thought BB was significantly easier than other sources. These are my scores on BB for tmrw’s tests:

Math II: 800
Biology M: 800
Physics: 800

Hopefully the real deal will be of similar in terms of difficulty to the BB tests =)

Same here:

Latin: 800
Physics: 800

I feel like I peaked too early in physics, though. That score came from a couple weeks ago, when I had just finished studying. I feel like the material isn’t as fresh in my mind anymore, because I got a 750 in PR a couple days ago after getting 800 PR a month ago.

wow thanks everyone! ok, it seems like everyone here says that biology is harder. i just think that the actual tests different material.

history is really hard to predict b/c the material covers so much. but im assuming that the actual test is easier? no?

Collegeboard released = WAY easier than actual test… for all the subjects I’ve taken.

I don’t think they are “WAY” easier… they are probably 3 or 4 questions easier.

The USH BB was the same level as the real test.
Math I will see tomorrow.

well i took the CB tests for US and the CB tests did not have any of the random 60s-80s q’s on the real… unfortunately. I think that’s what the 30 pt difference was from an 800. D:

5-6 q overlap though.

After getting my scores, it turns out I got same scores on the real test as on the practice tests (800s). I felt like the real tests were a little bit harder, but it was probably just psychological – it feels harder when you know it’s the one that counts.

World History:
BB: 800 Real test: 800
However, I felt that the BB practice test was a lot easier, so I went into the test expecting it to be easy. Misleading, grrr. The actual test was really difficult, I don’t think the BB represented it correctly (not as many WTH is this??? kinds of questions that were so common on the real test).

i thought the chem test this june was about the same as the one in the book. the USH exam though was unrealistically MUCH harder.

Chem: 750 book, 800 real
USH: 610 book, 780 real (i will admit i studied a bit after the 610 but there is still a big difference)

P.S. i took the math 2 test last june and actually thought it was easier than the bb. got an 800 on both

college board released bio e —>770
real deal --------> 800
the real test was significantly harder so i’m thinkin my difference in score is due to scaling.

BB WH: 540
Actual: 690
