How does the curving work?

<p>So I know that in Microeconomics my friend's midterm was curved based on the score received. But, it was curved right away. In Math 224 and Chem 101, I know they curve at the end of the quarter.</p>

<p>I'm actually doing pretty well in both classes (way above averages for both midterms) but I was just wondering if these classes generally have a decent curve at the end? </p>

<p>I thought I was doing pretty well but a lot of people began dropping the class, raising the average.</p>
