I’m assuming you don’t receive it until you’ve paid your admission fee, correct? Have any been sent out yet? How does it ask you what dorms you’d like to live in?
I am also curious. I know it comes after your acceptance fee is paid but not sure about the rest.
Your housing contract is available based on when you paid your acceptance fee. The earlier you paid the earlier you get your contract. Watch your buckeye link. I think it was available there before we got the notice. They will ask many survey questions and preferences. I think you can rank your top 4 preferences. Assignments will not be out until mid to late June.
Will paying the acceptance fee later make it so I probably won’t get what I want?
Possibly. Definitely send in your contract as soon as you get it. You get the housing contract based on when the acceptance fee is paid so the later you pay the acceptance fee the later you will get the contract.
Good luck to you. You can have a great experience no matter where you live. Get involved. My child is involved in Block O and has had great experiences with that organization. Block o can definitely get you involved in anything from student sections at games to raising money for buckeyethon to joining intramural teams.

How does Scholars fit into the housing contracts? Does the student complete the housing contract even if she doesn’t know which Scholars program she’s in yet? What about roommates, can the student add a roommate preference later?
I don’t know about scholars but room mate preferences can be added later. I think the room mate request deadline last year was June 1 but please double check that. You both have to request each other for the request to be honored. My child found a room mate on Facebook the day before the deadline and it has worked out well.

@momfactfinder I am a first year student in the scholars program, so I can help you with that!
Each program has a specific dorm they live in. Basically, you fill out the housing contract as normal, but at a certain point you will be able to indicate what scholars program you are in, and that’s all you have to do! (For the first year, at least.) You can request a room mate and all that jazz as normal.
Be on the lookout for your housing applications. I got mine yesterday at around 5:30.
Does the contract show up in the to-do list or where?
I only get math d, foreign lang test, final transcript, financial responsibility statement which keeps saying that I’m not authorized.

When did you pay the acceptance fee?
@sjmaiklee I didn’t actually check my To Do List, I received an email and directly went to the URL from there. I paid the acceptance fee on 12/28.
I also cannot access the financial responsibility statement.
