How does the setting (urban, rural, suburban) affect the school?

For those familiar with the schools in rural settings, are there kids (not necessarily YOUR kid) that take advantage of the woods as a cover for alcohol use, drug use, etc? Do you think that a certain element of boredom might encourage this, or would these kids find a way to do what they do, no matter the setting?

2kids, you are right, setting has nothing to do with this as many students have posted that these things go on at all or most schools, urban, or rural.

Biased, I know…but the most beautiful balance of School to town is on the other side of the country…along with a unique mode of transportation: [The Thacher School ~ News Detail](http://www.thacher.org/podium/default.aspx?t=133949&nid=651836&bl=/default.aspx)

I know Dana hall, for girls is in a great location. You can walk to everything, but it isn’t too close to Boston that there is noise.

Looks beautiful, ThacherParent.
