I was wondering what, if any, weight is given for participating in the WOW program. Are the any statistics in this regard? What percent of participants eventually get an acceptance letter? I've read 60-70% in some threads, but those seemed to be more anecdotally-based statistics.

At the very least, does the program express a level of interest that would even be considered (given how competitive Williams is, I'm not sure if demonstrated interest is even a considered factor)?

I participated in WOW and was accepted! Having said that, I know people who were accepted to the program and rejected. But, I think I know more people (from the program) that were ultimately accepted. Idk avout stats, but I did the Amherst fly in and they mentioned 70%. Obviously being selected shows they’re interested in you, Williams admissions officers specifically tell you that during the program, so good luck! Williams is amazing and WoW was a w e s o m e!

I was accepted to the WOW program, didn’t attend due to prior commitments, and was accepted. So I think being selected shows that you are on their and puts you on the right path, but it’s not a requirement nor is it a guarantee.
