I applied to Colby ED2 but 4 guys from my school were accepted ED1. All of the students accepted were for athletics and I have a very unique application but I go to a small but competitive school (400 students) and am worried about how this may affect me. I have a better academic profile than these students but I feel that the admissions office will be hesitant to accept a fifth student from the same small school. My profile is: White Male, 3.4 GPA, Hardest Courseload (6 AP's), 2000 SAT's, Excellent Essays and Recs, my interviewer said that he was looking forward to sending in his "notes" on me and a letter to the president about me and that my chances were very good (but that was in November), I am a leader in my school and very involved (president of 2 clubs, captain of Rock Climbing, and Winter Mountaineering team, i'm big into the outdoors and have climbed Kilimanjaro and work at a summer camp up in Maine). Where does this put me? Thanks for your help

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I'd say that it doesnt matter. have you read the colby admissions blog? its helped dispel a lot of my insecurities about stuff like that...

i just checked and there was a recent blog entitled "Athletics and ED" or something like that. It was helpful thanks for the tip.
