<p>I would add a safety - but yay for Davidson! That's where I'm going. I feel like it's a low match for you, but it's hard enough to get into all of those schools that it's slightly random, so even top students like yourself get rejected sometimes. Maybe look at some safeties that offer good merit aid? I personally applied to Rhodes as a safety, and ended up really liking it when I visited. I'd give it a look.</p>
<p>yeah and Wash U probably isn't a good safety to choose cause knowing them they'll waitlist you since you're overqualified and most likely to attend a harder school. just a tip :P</p>
<p>there isn't a chance in hell i would apply to washu for that exact reason. one of the highlights of my vanderbilt visit was actually the explanation of this whole "commons" thing, basically a huge amount of money was put towards the freshman experience exclusively. from all the schools i've looked at they seem to care the least about rankings and the most about undergrad experience. davidson definitely came close which is one of the reasons it's on my list. i think i should be ok in terms of admission though, but will have a look at tufts as it has come recommended a few times.</p>
