Well I decided to start studying for the SAT (finally).
So my first "step" was to take a practice test just to see how much I know.

I got:

*Reading 520
*Writing 560
*Math 590

Total: 1670

How is this for my "first time"? Almost no studying done.

Do you think if I study and work hard I could get a good score on the real test?

Thanks

You can definitely improve with studying and practice. If time was a factor (i.e. you didn’t finish the test sections), you can definitely increase your score based on improving speed.
My best advice is to use the blue book and work on one section at a time. Most importantly, figure out why you got each question wrong and study that concept and/or practice problems in that area if necessary. Studying vocabulary may help too if you have enough time before the test.

much better than mine :P
