how does this scholarship thing work?

Ok so I'm an incoming freshman at Northeastern university.
I was granted dean’s scholarship of $15k this spring when i got the acceptance letter.
And I turned in my deposits by May 1st as the guide said.
However, when I’ve got my bill for the fall semester today, it doesn’t seem like my scholarship is included in the bill.
I thought that the amount of scholarship automatically gets deducted from the bill.
Is it a mistake on the bill? Or is there something I’m missing on?
I don't get how this scholarship thing works. I'm not eligible to file any other kind of financial aid since im an international student. so I was really counting on that scholarship.
sigh..

First of all, most schools will divide the merit between semesters/quarters. So if your school is on semesters, you will probably see only half of the scholarship ($7500) show up on the first bill.

Just call your school’s fin aid office (or bursar) - they are not just there to collect the $$$ - they should be able to decipher for you as well.

Probably just the way the school accounts for it. Not to worry. Just call them.
