Since i know med schools reccomend bio chem and calc i definitely plan on taking them. But what if i take them both my senior year? since those classes and grades wont be on my transcript when i apply will that look bad in comparison to others who have already taken the classes earlier? should i try and squeeze them in in my junior year?

i'm no expert but i think people take the MCATs after their junior year, which would mean you'd get owned by the MCAT w/o those courses

You usually take your basic undergrad science courses during your fresh/soph years. People finish off the lower div science classes before moving on to the ochem and upper-div bio classes their late soph/jr years.

Med schools want you to take those courses in preparation for your med school courses. So, as long as you take them before matriculation, you'll be fine.

You do bring up a valid point that med schools need something to judge you on upon application. So, while you don't need biochem/calc, I'd recommend having at least the basic 4 science courses (gen chem, orgo, bio, and physics) done by application time.

Sorryy!!i should have read over those before i posted it. I meant "biochem" and calc. My general bios, general chem, and organic chem will be done by my junior spring... i know you guys must have thought i was crazyy lol
