<p>B: Thanks for the wonderful summary…which is most helpful to those still searching. You should post it on other sites. We agree with your review of Notre Dame engineering. My son loved it…but not worth the $$ for an engineering degree. I assure you that if we were instate IL… UIUC would definately be a top choice. My husband really liked it there also $$$ for OOS and they accept a smaller percentage. My s could consider a Masters in Materials there since they do have such a great program. I think that my son was won over by Ann Arbor and the fact that we might be transferred to Michigan someday with my husband’s job. So having said that, I am back to work, we are refinancing the almost paid off house and my son is lining up a well paying full time job for the summer.
