How does transfer of credits work when taking summer class off-grounds?

<p>If anyone has taken a class off-grounds during the summer, would you please advise what a current student would need to verify about the course and the credential of the college (off-grounds) to ensure that the course credits can be transferred to and accepted by UVA. This question pertains to out-of-state students who wish to take classes at colleges near home during the summer to fulfill UVA college course requirements.</p>
