Since UCB never receives any official documents about my school (i.e. avg test scores, avg GPA), they said on their website they compare me to students who are applying from my school. The thing is, my high school is in the top 20 in the nation and is only around 50 kids per grade. And only about 3-4 are applying to UCB. In the past, only like kids with 4.0s applied to UCB, and I have a 3.9 (from 9th-12th. UC Unweighted is like a 3.81, but my UC weighted is like a 4.64). This year, a few kids are applying and they don’t have a 4.0. Basically, what I’m saying is that because UCB doesn’t receive a full profile, they might automatically assume most kids at my high school have 4.0s and hold it against me. How will this affect me?
All schools have a school profile that colleges can reference.
@mothergoldenbear even out of state kids like me?
