How does UCB calculate our GPA?

I know UCB requires a minimum of 60 semester units to transfer from a CCC. When I transfer I will have about 80 units completed. I was wondering if anyone knows how UC calculates the transferable GPA? Assuming all my units are UC transferable, will they just take the overall GPA for all 80 units instead of just 60?

(I'm taking a prereq course in the 2011-2012 articulation agreement that was removed in the 2012-2013 agreement. (No idea when the new agreement was updated O _ o). The problem is I might get a B in this class which will lower my overall GPA and it turned out this class is no longer part of the prereq :(

Any help would be appreciated!

They will calculate the same way all the UC’s will. It will be the overall gpa of ALL UC transferable classes ever taken.

I see… :frowning: Darn I can’t believe I took that class for nothing & now it’s actually hurting my overall GPA

Thank you for your reply.
