How does UCB choose Spring Admits?

<p>Got admitted for spring as an Anthro major to UCB
Im just curious how they choose who gets Fall admission and who gets Spring admission.
Anybody have an idea?</p>

<p>Usually the borderline student who barely made the cut get chosen for spring admits.</p>

<p>I think this thread does a good job of explaining it. Although it’s for Freshmen I think it applies to transfers as well (except for the FPF). </p>

<p>You should. Everyone I have met here at Berkeley (spring admit or not) deserves to be here. Plus, you still take the same exact classes as everyone else. Congratulations, you will not be disappointed.</p>
