<p>You guys all fail. </p>
<p>Some transfer students will have to room with the freshmen in the resident halls but not a lot. For example: the Village doesn’t have a lot of singles and say someone on a waiting list for a single is given the opportunity to take a single at Muir (for instance) as opposed to rooming with 5 other guys. Since I go here, I know this happens.</p>
<p>However, about 90% of transfer students will either reside in the Village or off campus but like I mentioned before this year they’re opening up East Village so I doubt that transfer students will ever have to room with freshmen and sophomores again in the resident halls.</p>
<p>PS. What a lot of people don’t know is that those monthly rates for the rooms include a meal plan (something like $2200 a year). But it still comes out too expensive for most of our budgets…</p>
