Decision date is approaching and I’m honestly so freaked out about my application. My ECs are ok (Psychology Club Vice President, Homecoming Committee Chief, SGA president, Journalism Club’s Fashion Editor, NHS, volunteered at a library and a hospital, waitress at a restaurant and I perform for kids). I have a 3.8 uw and 5.12 weighted; ranked 5/141, first generation/ORM (Asian), and behold: 1780 SAT & 22 ACT.
I guess this is somewhat a chance me thread… I really need some comforting right now because UF is my top choice and I’m dreading for that rejection letter.
Hi @Oddorable , I’ve just finished answering your other thread and it really seems like you’re desperate here. I hate to sound patronizing, but just take a breath! You’ll be fine- plus, your SAT score isn’t that bad, I’ve seen some accepted students with that score before. I wouldn’t count on the ACT score though
You have a great GPA and an above average weighted, so I would say your chances are actually pretty high in getting in. If you want to stop by our official decisions thread and hop on the prospective student boat, feel free! And as always, good luck!
@AGoodFloridian Thanks!!
sigh To be honest I didn’t even send my ACT scores but UF has it because according to my counselor, Florida schools get access to your standardized test scores. Thank you again, I’ll post my decision result (even if it’s a rejection) when it comes out!
