are we able to transfer our units if we're out of state? At the end of this fall semester as a senior I'll have 45 semester units and by the end of spring probably 60. Do you think most of the units would be able to transfer to mich if it's from a california community college? are these college courses looked at the same level as AP courses?

i have the same question about texas cc courses.

bump......

I was a dual enrolled student before coming into umich this year. I was able to transfer all my credits. Yes, you can transfer credit if your from out of state. If your coming into LSA this year, they put the limit of transferable credits at 60. I don't know about the other colleges, but Umich is strict when it comes to selecting which courses are transferable or not.

Here are the transfer credit course equivalencies for CC's by state: http://141.211.177.75/lsa/students/req_conversion/outofstate/

It depends on whether or not you needed those courses to count towards your credits for high school graduation. If you used them to fulfill your graduation requirements, then you can't also count them a second time as college credits. However, many dual enrollment students have no problem fulfilling their requirements with regular high school courses, and take the college courses as enrichment. Then they may be eligible.
