How does USC look at withdrawals?

I have withdrawn from a math class freshman year fall semester as the teacher was awful and I wasn't doing well and now I have to withdrawal freshman spring semester from my independent studies finance elective because it's too much work on top of my 4 other classes and my job. I don't plan on withdrawing again. Should I add an extra class to my sophomore year summer or fall semester to make up for it or no?

It is a definite negative, but it shouldnt be given that much weight.

It won’t make that big of a difference since its only Fresh and Soph year. But that means theres less going into your GPA. try to take more classes (and do well in them) so you have more to go into your GPA. Make sure you are fulfilling the math requirement at your school, as well. I think most schools require 3 years.
