<p>Agree that Winter Study at Williams is great for experimentation. </p>
<p>On the other hand, regular courses and their intensity make it very difficult for students to be truly adventurous. In my opinion, the Gaudino Option is not working as it should. It is also very restrictive. For instance, if a student took a previous course in a subject (say an easier math course such as The Beauty of Numbers) she cannot use Gaudino in another course in the same subject (say Bioinformatics).</p>
