i sent all components of my app about a week and a half ago...
the other day, i was browsing through the FAQs on the yale/admit website and one of the answers did mention that once the commonapp portion of the app was processed, we'd recieve some form of notification.

for anyone who has already heard back... was it a letter? email? how long did it take for them to "process"?

just a random set of questions... thanks to all who reply =)

I understand the admission office sends you by email-if you gave them one on your app-otherwise by snail mail--a password to use on their site to find out the status of your application. The admission office voicemail advised today that you should expect notification the end of Nov.
Good Luck-

I bet the most apps have been sent in between Saturday and today. We'll be the last ones to get our emails. But I doubt it'd take more than 3-4 days.

thanks for all your replies!!
to those that haven't recieved anything and are waiting...

i did not recieve an email from yale.
(perhaps i did but it went straight to my spam folder? that would be bad.)
rather, it took two weeks, but i recieved a snail mail tidbit. it took a while, but confirmation is always good to have =)

so. while it seems that most people are hearing back from yale in a few days at most, it took me two weeks. and i sent my app in early-ish october. hang in there!!
