I understand that AP Physics C is actually divided into 2 parts, newtonian mech and e and m. Our school goes by block scheduling, so most classes normally a year long under a period schedule is a semester long here. We divide AP Physics C into 2 one semester classes, N/m and e/m, the equivalent of 2 year long classes in physics under a period schedule. How does your school layout the AP Physics C curriculum? Do you guys cram both exams for one class or spread them out over 2 years (or 2 semesters with block) and 2 courses?

Mine doesn’t offer any AP Physics.

At my school it’s just one year long class. No division here.

It doesn’t. We don’t offer AP Physics C. Or AP Physics B. Or Honors/Advanced Physics.

We have block scheduling too, (4 classes per semester) and AP Physics C is a year long class, students has to take both, (Mech., Electricity and Magnetism) and decided which test to take, or they can take both.

We don’t have a block schedule, just seven one-hour periods that repeat every day. Physics C is a year-long course that fits into one of these blocks (always first period, actually – woo, physics at 7:20 AM!). First semester focuses on mech, second on E&M.

One year-long class, easy A supposedly. But the teacher doesn’t teach you at all. Which is why I won’t be taking the AP test. Hehehehe. Yay senioritisssssssss
