<p>My post was based on what I hear on CC. And the 1450 referred to what students were posting for tuition scholarships. It is probably a small sample. Scores do seem to be going up.</p>
<p>At Pitt’s day yesterday they said merit aid needed a 1450 SAT (M/CR) and 33 ACT plus an “A average” GPA with a “demanding curriculum” to be considered ($2000/year to free ride).</p>
<p>The stats were on one of their slides in the slide show/talk.</p>
<p>The Honors College is still 1400/32.</p>

<p>I should have written “or” instead of “and” between the SAT/ACT stats. They don’t require both, just one or the other and the GPA, etc.</p>

<p>I am not surprised. The numbers have been going up every year. I bet it will be even more competitive this upcoming year :(</p>

<p>This actually makes me happy (of course I say that as a current student). It just proves what a good, competitive/academic school Pitt is.</p>
