How early is early?

My post was based on what I hear on CC. And the 1450 referred to what students were posting for tuition scholarships. It is probably a small sample. Scores do seem to be going up.

At Pitt’s day yesterday they said merit aid needed a 1450 SAT (M/CR) and 33 ACT plus an “A average” GPA with a “demanding curriculum” to be considered ($2000/year to free ride).

The stats were on one of their slides in the slide show/talk.

The Honors College is still 1400/32.

Thanks for updating Creekland.

I should have written “or” instead of “and” between the SAT/ACT stats. They don’t require both, just one or the other and the GPA, etc.

1450 SAT or 33 ACT.

I am not surprised. The numbers have been going up every year. I bet it will be even more competitive this upcoming year :(

This actually makes me happy (of course I say that as a current student). It just proves what a good, competitive/academic school Pitt is.
