School doesn't start until September 9th for me and my counselor won't write any recs until then. Would I be pretty safe if I had everything submitted by the 15th of September?

Yes ( speaking of applying as ER), University of Michigan- Ann Arbor early response doesn’t end until November 1st.

This may be helpful ( though I would assume you have already overlooked this site): [Office of Undergraduate Admissions: Early Response](http://www.admissions.umich.edu/prospective/applying/earlyresponse.php)

Yes, I have read the U of M site. I’m just curious as to when all of you will be applying and what I should expect from students already enrolled.

My teacher rec wasn’t submitted until 10/15 last year. I had sort of a low GPA, and I got in in mid-December. You should be fine.

I’m not enrolled ( senior in high school), I plan to submit everything by mid or late September since I have to re-take the ACT.
(FYI, many who I met on this forum as University of Michigan- Ann Arbor student makes it a turn off, though I’m sure thousands of students would reassure me they clearly do not represent the school/ a small fraction online to overlook)

I appreciate everyones input. Best of luck to anyone applying in the fall!

From what I’ve been told from my counselor, the first batch of applications are not read until October 31st…
Get it anytime in September/October and you should be fine…

^That’s not correct. The first batch of acceptances came out on the 31st last year.

I got my counselor and teachor recs over the summer so i could get the App sent in during mid to late august
