If i apply under mathematics in Trinity, will it be hard later if I want to switch into something like economics in trinity? Are students admitted by major or by school? Is mathematics a hard major to get into and what would be the easiest? Thanks!

From my understanding, Trinity admits students without regard to intended major. All students, no matter what it says on your admissions application, enter as undeclared and are not asked to declare until Spring Break their sophomore year. There are no selective majors in Trinity. So, from a admissions quota standpoint, it does not matter what you declare to be your major.

@purpleacorn is entirely correct; in addition, once one matriculates, it is also easy to change majors, especially during the first few semesters.

I think to change majors you basically just fill out a form
