How Easy is it to Change?

I'm applying to Trinity, with an intention of majoring in economics. However, I'm also considering engineering. My question: How easy/hard is it, once accepted and attending, to switch from Trinity to Pratt?

It's much easier to switch from Pratt to Trinity. They pretty much let anybody who wants to, to do it. You just select another box. Trinity to Pratt, on the other hand, isn't a 100% guarantee, but if you plan ahead of time and take the necessary courses to prepare yourself for the Pratt curriculum, you should have no issue. This just means planning the appropriate math and science courses first semester, and then you can always take EGR 53 second semester. If you have done this and didn't fail the courses, it's not too hard to transfer.

A couple of my friends are transferring from Trinity to Pratt. It's not hard, so long as you take math and EGR53 your freshman year.

Concur with the posters above - main thing to understand is that there are some pre-req chains in the different engineering programs that are a couple years long, so you have to make sure you start those early enough - if you are in econ you'll already be doing the math so that's certainly a great start.
