How easy is it to get a single?

Hey, I didn't want to go posting the same question in every specific school's forum, so I figured I would just put it here.

I would really like to live in a single, and I've heard that is easier to do in some schools than others. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice in general, or about the specific schools I am applying to.

My tentative list is:

BC
George Washington
UMich
Tufts
Middlebury
Wesleyan
Williams
Northwestern
UPenn
Georgetown
Yale

If anyone wants to give info/advice about schools I listed, that would be welcome, but I'm really interested in the housing. If I put this in the wrong place, feel free to tell me.

Thanks!

BC doesnt have singles

Thanks for the response.

Another question I had is how nice/expensive the gyms/exercise equipment/facilities are at each of the schools? I guess these are both things I’ll figure out when I visit. I saw Wesleyan’s gym, and it is beautiful. Do any of my other schools have something similar?

Thanks again.

Almost everyone gets a single at Williams. If you go anywhere else, where a single is uncommon, I wouldn’t recommend it.
