How easy is it to get into parties at UCSB?

Due to the shallow nature of the question, let me assure you that I’m a very academically focused student with a 35 ACT score and have 34 credits prior to starting my freshman year from highschool AP courses.

With that said, I just wanted to know where to have fun on the weekends. I recently visited my friends at UIUC (the only benefit of starting school in late September is that I can see all my friends) and realized how difficult it is for men to get into frat parties without lots of connections. I know that house parties are more commonly found in UCSB, but are they relatively easy to get into? I would assume that UCSB frats are highly exclusive because only 10% of students participate in greek life, but I wouldnt mind as long as there are some places to party.

Again, I dont need a lecture on staying focused on studies. They obviously come first, I need the scholarship money. But Im genuinely curious about how it all works out.

Thanks in advance!!

It number one party school in California so… UCSB and UCLA are top. You should be good just talk … make friends, work hard play hard … have fun its college
