I'll be coming this fall to the US for my undergrad and just out of curiosity, wanted to know how easy it is to purchase a gun in the US?
I've heard that compared to other nations, it rather easy, and there aren't too many restrictions.

well considering wal-mart sells them it can't be too hard.

You must be kidding! Wal-Mart?

WALly-WORLD??? lol sells guns but its WALLY-WORLD! I Think thats wrong they sell guns at the place where i can get sams club stuff for like 59 cents and its like a gigantic bottle

Walmart sells hunting rifles. No automatics or pistols. In regards to buying one...legally...it varies by state. Some states will sell without a firearms license, others require a license.

If you want a gun, I hope its for hunting purposes. Otherwise there really is no need for an automatic or anything like that here.

Sure there is, Recreation shooting.

lmao hilarious man

Of course there is a reason to own a gun. Protection. Get rid of gun control laws and America would be a lot safer.

They need to get rid of excessive force laws when someone breaks into your house. Home Invasions would nearly cease to exist if robbers can be shot and killed legally once they enter a home.

why is THIS post on COLLEGE CONFIDENTAIL

He's coming to the US for undergrad and wants a gun. Not a big deal.

depends what state you'll be living in.

I'll be in Massachusetts.

I believe in Texas you have the right to kill anyone who breaks into your home.

I'm pretty sure wal-mart stopped selling guns because of lagging sales. Walmart did however sell the bullets used in the Columbine shootings, so maybe you can still find those.

They didn't stop selling guns.

If you'll be living on campus, most colleges won't allow you to have a gun, even if it is "easy" to get one. Most dorms will have a no firearms policy.

Off-Campus storage, BB.

I know, but I won't mind possessing a rifle, even if its after college.
