From what I have heard, it is a lot harder to transfer FROM the College TO Wharton; however, that is partially due to the fact that it is harder to get accepted to Wharton.

It is easier to gain admission to Wharton and leave to SAS or SEAS. I don't know why you think you will need to transfer......have you considered joint and dual degree options?

Flavian, you sure its 3.66, not from 3.46-3.64(depending on the year)? and for SEAS students, do you necessarily HAVE to take Chem freshman year? or is Physics and Intro to Eng enough.

The reason you got mixed signals from the admissions office is because they strongly discourage applicants from trying to back-door into Wharton. If you check the Wharton site, you can see what it says about the requirements for internal transfers, which are what has been stated in this thread. The fact of the matter is that it is harder to get into Wharton than into the college, but if they "smell" a back-door attempt, you won't get into either.

Well I dont know what I want to do yet. I may wind up transfering out of Wharton if I get in. I simply cant decide which to be in since I believe that I could be happy in both.

And with the joint degrees, I have thought about it but my language skills just arent up to par with most other huntsman applicants.
