How exactly do we get AP Scores?

I've heard how you can get them over the phone, but it costs $8. Can we see them online on the same profile we used for the SAT? I don't think I'll have to worry about this for a while anyways, we get our scores around the end of May though right?

you get them in the mail

When can we get them on the phone? Does it always cost money to get them over the phone? I’m probably not going to pay the $8 unless it’s like a long time till I get them. My orientation for college is June 3, and I need my score to know which Biology classes I can exempt so I can sign up for the right classes during orientation.

the earliest you can get your scores from this year’s exams is July first over the phone for $8. They get mailed to you around the third week in July. So there is no way you’ll know your score in time for orientation. If you’re registering for classes then you can always just change it during the add/drop period depending on your score.

I wasn’t 100% sure if changing classes was easy, but I’ll have some substitutes in mind whether I get the credit or not.

And this might sound immature, but I really wish someone would sue CollegeBoard for them to not call themselves a non-profit organization. I seriously think they make close to $1/2 billion a year. $50 per SAT (millions of students take it many times), $86 per AP Exam (160,000 students take just AP Biology, there are a whole ton of subjects), $9.50 for an SAT Score report (Millions of seniors send these to 2-10 different colleges), and now $8 to give AP Scores over the phone when they clearly have the scores in the database and it doesn’t cost them anything to pull the score up. I wish that it was well known (to an extent where it’s affected as true fact) that it’s a business. It’s obvious that it is a business, but it doesn’t get enough attention to become a serious issue, they shouldn’t be allowed to charge this much money if you ask me.

Can we ever see how many questions we miss? Or does the letter just include scores ranging from 1-5?

all you see is the score you got (1-5)…nothing else

Music Theory and Calc BC have section subscores, the rest are just 1-5.
