<p>Supposed I want to rush report November SAT IIs.</p>

<li>I take the SAT IIs on November 7.</li>
<li>I wait until November 24 when the results come out.</li>
<li>After I receive my scores, I then click the "send score" and "rush report" button and sec it to the university.</li>

<p>I don’t have a definitive answer, but from experience, I believe this is what happen.</p>
<p>You took the test on Nov 7.</p>
<p>Scenario 1:
You request score 2 weeks before Nov 24 when the scores come out like using the free score reporting. When Nov 24 arrives, the score will be sent out immediately if the school take electronic reporting or the scores will be mailed if the school accept snail mail.</p>
<p>Scenario 2:
You request to send a score on or soon after Nov 24 after the scores come out. CB will wait 2 weeks starting from the 24th, and gather all the scores sending requests up to that point and send them. If the school take electronic reporting, it will get the score 2 weeks after the 24th, otherwise there will be some added time for CB to print the score and send using postal service. Same cycle happen every 2 weeks.</p>
<p>This is why CB state that it is up to 2 weeks to report score if the school use electronic reporting and up to 3-4 weeks if the school only accept mail.</p>
<p>Scenario 3:
You request the score on or soon after the 24th but also pay for “rush” report. CB will spend up to 2 days to get to the request and send the score. Electronic delivery occurs right away after 2 days and add postal delivery time if school does not take electronic delivery.</p>
<p>Again, this is a lot of educated guess on my part so don’t take it as the definitive truth.</p>
<p>It doesn’t make sense to me either. It’s like 35 bucks I think. And since we see our grades early online and Penn accepts online reports they’ll have it the same time we get it. I don’t see how rush makes it faster because you can’t rush until you see the scores online(at which time they’re automatically sent to Penn). Seems like a waste of 35 dollars</p>
<p>If you send the scores online through the regular “send score” option the school gets it about 2 weeks after you decide to send it (I’m not sure why, i think it is just to make more people pay money for rush). If you choose rush than they send out your scores in the mail and it arrives much earlier. Most schools prefer to not recieve them in the mail however.</p>
<p>so say i took the SAT IIs this past Saturday (the 7th) and I choose to send my scores today, will they get to Penn on time? Will Penn receive the scores soon after the 24th? or did I misunderstand?</p>
